Daddy Came For A Visit!

My 2 boys look totally adorable together! Especially seeing each other for the 1st time after a couple of month's separation...

Johno wanted a hug from Daddy immediately, but looked a little shy and pretended to be super well-behaved. After less than 2 minutes, Johno went back to his super excitable and overactive self in the car.

He wanted his Daddy all to himself! He didn't let Daddy hug Mummy, no putting his arm around her, and even no holding her hand! Daddy was only allowed to hug Johno alone! That possessive little darling... And of course Daddy was secretly pleased with the attention he demanded from him. I guess this is the extreme opposite of what everyone feared - that Johno wouldn't even recognise his Daddy after all this time.

John just came by for 4 days over Christmas when his ship coincidentally pulled into Singapore ports during this period on their way to the gulf. It was an awesome blessing! We packed these 4 days full with great food and fulfilling activities.

Day 1 - Pick up from pier and went straight for lunch: John's favourite Laksa and Mee Pok. Then went to chill out at Kit's place for his first meeting with niece Yaya. It was cries-at-first-sight for the 5-month old beauty, but on 2nd looks, she started to bestow lovely smiles upon him endlessly! Yap. He has been charmed! Dinner that night was yummy pepper crab with lots and lots of crab roe!

Day 2 - Breakfast: Roti Prata and Dough fritters, with a traditional Teh-beng. Lunch: John's special request of Mummy's homecooked steamed prawns. Dinner: Met up with the gang for frog's legs porridge and durians at Geylang.

Day 3 - Day of blissful family time. Spent time with Johno at his school's Christmas eve party and had yummy steamboat dinner at home with the family with insane ripping open of Christmas presents! Then, proceeded on to Al's overnight hotel party (without the baby, of course!).

Day 4 - Beautiful Christmas Day. Extended family time of catching up over loads of food.

Though the visit was short, it was wonderful and very much appreciated. It made beautiful memories to be held and cherished till the next time we are together again!

We love you, John Wang! Don't you forget that! :)
