With John scheduled to be away most of the next 9 months, he decided to create a special memory to be shared between Baby J and him. They were going to customize their very own cuddly toy!So, off they went to the speciality store in the mall where personalized stuffed animals can be created.
From the shelves and crates, purple hippos, spotted cows, grey elephants, and even pink shimmering unicorns were pleading, "pick me, pick me!" Spoilt for choice, they finally found the most perfect one out of over 30 other adorable different animals of various colours and textures - a timeless classic brown teddy with the most gentle face and cuddly fur.
Next, they filled him with just the right amount of stuffing; not too soft for endless hugs and not too firm for snuggling comfort.He has to be just right!
Then, to add really special finishing touches, they picked out a musical sound chip, planted kisses on a guardian-angel bear and placed them safely inside the bear.
The store was full of clothes and accessories to dress the animals up in the most outrageous looks, but the boys insisted that teddy bears should be left looking like how teddy bears should - naked!
Finally, they picked up his adoption certificate and prepared him for his ride home.
Thank you, Daddy for such a special day and wonderful memories. I love my Daddy-Bear and will keep him by my side to keep me safe in your absence. I will hug him when I miss you and kiss him to tell him I love my Daddy!
